Adrian is an Associate Director within the Debt Advisory team.
Having joined RSM Tenon on their graduate training scheme, he gained experience in both the Audit and Corporate Finance teams while training, working as a team leader on audits and benefitting from working on both buy and sell-side transactions.
After qualifying in 2009, Adrian completed 2 years as an audit senior and was responsible for the largest clients within the portfolio. He also specialised in first time consolidations of cross border entities and had a focus on forecasting and going concern reviews, putting to use the skills he had learned in corporate finance.
In 2011 Adrian made the move into industry, joining the management team of a Sunday Times Top 250 company within the motor industry. Responsible for the accounts function for prestige brands across 6 dealership sites, Adrian also gained experience in proprietary accounting software systems, the detailed interrogation and analysis of data and accurate budgeting and forecasting. Perhaps most importantly though he learned a great deal about what life is like on the other side of the fence, giving him a far better understanding of the pressures on and the priorities of accountants in a management function.
After working within our transaction support team for 18 months, Adrian has joined our debt advisory team. Adrian has recently advised on the MBO of Clamason supported by Connection Capital, the growth funding for Sohonet, the acquisition of Whittlebury Hall & Spa, the investment in MPB by Mobeus and the acquisition of PDF by The EPI Group.
Adrian’s downtime doesn’t tend to involve much relaxation as he is never happier than being out of doors and active. A keen cyclist and runner, he has recently discovered the joys of mountain biking and cross-country fitness challenges, so can regularly be found plastered in mud.
Sailing is a fairly new but very big part of his life, never happy with just pottering around on the water, Adrian is very familiar with capsize drills.
However his biggest interest is cars; in particular fast ones. Consideration is always being given to what the next toy should be.
