HMT LLP advised the shareholders of Foresight Partnership Limited, one of the leading niche governance and organisational development consultancies in healthcare in the UK, on their disposal to GE Healthcare Finnamore.
The acquisition will see the launch of the ‘Foresight Centre for Governance’ at GE Healthcare Finnamore, adding to GE Healthcare Finnamore’s specialist health and social care consultancy base. The Centre will be led by former Foresight shareholders Adrienne Fresko CBE and Sue Rubenstein, who will join as partners reporting to GE Healthcare Finnamore’s Managing Partner, John Deverill.
This acquisition complements GE Healthcare Finnamore’s existing capabilities and expertise in leadership, management and organisational development, and draws on the significant experience of Foresight Partnership in health governance. This synergy will see the companies’ combined strengths harnessed to support development of the leadership and culture required to deliver true transformation in health and social care.
Sue Rubenstein commented,
“We so appreciated HMT’s wisdom in helping us to navigate the very unfamiliar territory of the transaction process – and for getting us to such a happy and successful conclusion.”
Andrew Thomson commented,
“We are delighted to have advised Sue and Adrienne on this transaction which has allowed them to realise significant value for their business whilst joining an organisation which will provide the scale and support required to take the combined business to the next level. We wish them the best of luck for the future.”
