Octopus invests in Rotolight
HMT LLP advised Octopus Investments on their £5 million investment in manufacturer of LED lighting products for photographers and film makers Rotolight Ltd.
Based in Pinewood Studios, Rotolight is a pioneering British technology company, specializing in creating award winning LED lighting products for photographers and filmmakers. Rotolight develops products that provide unique tools to image makers, allowing them to realise their creative vision and aspirations. Rotolight’s lighting products have been used in countless media companies including Disney and BBC and was also used in major movies such as Skyfall and Captain Philips.
The £5 million investment from Octopus will enable Rotolight to launch 15 new products in the next five years as well as support marketing and global expansion.
HMT undertook financial due diligence for Octopus on this transaction.
