HMT recognised twice at International Finance Awards
HMT LLP has been awarded ‘Entrepreneur focused Corporate Finance Team of the Year’ and ‘Most Respected Independent Advisory of the Year’ at the 2014 International Finance Awards, making it our 5th and 6th major accolade since January.
Following on from our success at the 2014 Thames Valley Deals Awards earlier this year, where we were recognised with 3 major accolades, HMT’s expertise has been rewarded once again at the International Finance Awards organised by Acquisition International where we won the ‘Entrepreneur Focused Corporate Finance Team of the Year’ and ‘Most Respected Independent Advisory of the Year’ awards.
In June, HMT was also recognised at the M&A Awards winning the ‘Cross-border M&A Team of the Year’.
The International Finance Awards highlight the amazing work done by the firms around the world making huge strides in the competitive finance sector. The awards are sponsored by Acquisition International.
In the last 12 months, HMT has advised on over 25 deals including the MBO’s of EPI Group, Acal Enterprise Solutions and Jellyfish as well as the refinancing of Croft Associates and shareholder restructuring of Orion Electrotech. Since its launch last year, HMT’s entrepreneurial services team has provided audit, tax and outsourcing advice to over 30 clients.
This recognition reinforces our position as the leading adviser to entrepreneurial businesses in the Thames Valley and the South East, advising deals with an aggregate value of over £400 million in the past 12 months.
Ian Barton said,
As a business that has doubled in size in the last 18 months we are delighted to once again be recognised for our market leading deal credentials with entrepreneurial businesses and thank our clients for their continued support.
