Jack Longden
Director
Jack is a Debt Advisory Director at HMT, with 11 years’ multi-disciplined advisory experience, working as part of our Corporate Finance team.
After obtaining his degree in Business Economics from the University of Exeter in 2012, Jack joined NatWest in London.
During his career, Jack has worked on more than 60 debt transactions supporting MBOs, growth funding, recapitalisations and acquisition financing, both as a Director in NatWest’s Leveraged Finance team, and as part of the Bank’s restructuring team. In 2019 Jack founded NatWest’s £100m Growth Capital Fund, a differentiated lending strategy providing innovative venture & growth debt to early-stage businesses, enabling him to build on close partnerships with management teams and their investors.
Downtime
Jack lives in Wallingford with his wife Sarah, their son Arthur and their cocker spaniel puppy, Montie.
When he is not at work, Jack is a clumsy squash player and a slow but enthusiastic cross-country runner and Parkrun regular. He enjoys the outdoors, spending most of his holiday time either hiking in Scotland, touring around Europe’s best wine regions or skiing during the winter.
Jack is a self-confessed DIY enthusiast and often has a new project on the go, although typically with very mixed results!
