Investment in Hive Online Ltd by Encore Capital
HMT LLP undertook financial and tax due diligence for Encore Capital on their investment in Hive Online Ltd.
Established in 2005, Hive is a provider of unique code on-pack printing promotional services to FMCG companies. The company provides a patent-pending, end-to-end platform that uses unique codes to verify that a consumer has purchased the product enabling FMCG brands to measure the effectiveness of their promotional campaigns and customer loyalty.
Hive has won 34 COGS Awards since its creation in 2005 with 5 COGS won in 2015 including the prestigious the Gold COGS for Online and Loyalty Programmes.
Encore invested £2.5 million in Hive to support the business’ growth.
HMT undertook financial due diligence on the transaction.
