Sonmarg Capital acquires BWS Standfast

HMT LLP advised Sonmarg Capital on their acquisition of leading UK provider of security, fire and safety systems BWS Security Systems Limited from its retiring owners, Mike Stone and Chris Jenkins.

BWS (established in 1988) is a market leading provider of security, fire and safety systems, headquartered in Bath.  BWS supplies, installs, maintains and monitors fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems for commercial and residential customers, principally across the South-West of the UK.

Haris Khan, Principal of Sonmarg Capital commented:

“The HMT team were great throughout the process, able to turn work around fast and provide the insights necessary during a critical phase of the deal. Their advice was clear and concise and we look forward to working with them again.”

Paul Read commented:

“We are delighted to have advised Sonmarg on their acquisition of BWS from its founders. With Sonmarg’s support, BWS is on the right track to continue to flourish over the coming years. We look forward to working with Sonmarg in the future.”
