YFM Equity Partners invest in London Drainage Facilities

HMT LLP advised YFM on their investment in London Drainage Facilities (LDF), which will enable LDF to build on its market-leading service offering in the drainage repair market with plans for a high growth future.

LDF is led by Danny Fuller, Managing Director, who founded the business with Lucie Fuller, Business Operations Director, 17 years ago. With a mission of providing fast, high-quality, first-time fix drainage services, LDF has built an impressive base of hospitality facilities, property management, social housing, education and healthcare customers in the southeast. The core services include planned and emergency maintenance (24/7/365), repairs, remediation works, CCTV surveys and installation of new drainage systems.

LDF has experienced strong growth year on year and this investment will allow LDF to grow their engineering team, provide wider geographic coverage and a broader range of services, in particular their planned preventative maintenance offering.

HMT, undertook financial due diligence on this transaction.

David Wrench, Investment partner at YFM commented:

“It was fantastic to be able to work with Paul, Corin and the HMT team once more on the investment into LDF. Danny and Lucie have built LDF into a real service leader in the drainage repair market ad we’re delight to be able to support them on the next phase of the business’s growth. HMT worked really well alongside ourselves and the other advisors on the deal, getting under the skin of the numbers rapidly, such that we could focus on the key growth areas and expedite the investment process. As always, they were a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with them again soon.”

Paul Read commented:

“We are delighted to have had another opportunity to advise YFM Equity Partners on their investment in LDF. This represents an excellent opportunity for LDF’s continued growth. We look forward to work with YFM on future investments.”
