HMT appoints new Debt Advisory Director

HMT are delighted to announce that Neil Brown is joining our team as a Debt Advisory Director.

Neil, who joins us from KPMG, is an experienced debt advisor with a 10-year track record of advising mid-market corporates and sponsors to help them secure debt to support their strategic objectives, including funding growth plans, leveraged buyouts and refinancings.

After qualifying as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 2010, Neil worked in their restructuring team where he completed a one-year secondment to Lloyds Bank. He has focused on debt advisory since 2014 where he has advised clients on a variety of debt products including senior corporate, senior leveraged, unitranche, growth capital and asset-based lending.

Whilst Neil was principally based in London and Edinburgh, his experience includes a two-year secondment to Frankfurt.
