Acquisition of Mango Event Management Limited
Sportsworld Group, the leading international event services company, has acquired the full share capital of Mango Event Management Limited for an undisclosed sum. The agreement will significantly enhance Sportsworld’s range of creative event experiences and enable it to establish an even stronger share of the growing hospitality and events market.
Mango specialises in the organisation of tailor-made experiences in four main product areas: Mango Sport for the design and delivery of hospitality programmes in the UK and abroad; Mango HOST for concierge services; Mango Events for conferences, celebrations, team-building and incentives; and Mango London for in-bound MICE.Clients include Coca-Cola, UBS, T-Mobile, Burger King and HSBC.
HMT were the exclusive advisors on the transaction as well as in charge of conducting the due diligence.

Under the terms of the agreement, Mango will continue to operate under its own name and from its offices in London. Lindsay Whitmore will join the Sportsworld Group board and the two companies will collaborate on developing new concepts and delivering client programmes to achieve agreed business objectives.
