HMT LLP advised Mobeus Equity Partners (“Mobeus”) on their investment in data privacy software company Active Navigation.
Headquartered in Winchester with offices in the USA, Active Navigation is an industry leader providing unique file analysis software used for content discovery, compliance, classification and ongoing governance and control of unstructured data for leading commercial and government organisations across the world.
Mobeus led the $11million fundraising, to support the launch of a new SaaS product and accelerate Active Navigation’s further expansion across the globe. The investment comes after a period of strong growth for the data software company, who has recently added some of the world’s best known brands to its customer portfolio, including BAE Systems and the United States Marine Corps.
Following the transaction, Mobeus’ Partner Trevor Hope has joined Active Navigation’s board.
