Addtech AB acquires RTL Materials Ltd

HMT advised bi-stable reeled composite products manufacturer RTL Materials Ltd (‘RTL’) on their disposal to Swedish technical solutions group Addtech AB.

Headquartered in Lymington, RTL, operating under the Rolatube brand, develops and manufactures patented rollable composite structures and deployable mast systems for demanding applications within defence, aerospace, infrastructure, and industrial markets.

Addtech AB is a Swedish publicly listed technical solutions group. Operations comprise 150 independent group companies selling high-tech products and solutions to customers, primarily in the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors – with a focus on long-term sustainable growth.

HMT acted as sell-side advisors on this transaction, which included identifying the right acquirer, negotiating detailed terms, supporting the business through an extensive due diligence process and project managing the deal to a successful completion.
