HMT LLP advised Chiltern Capital backed by Keyhaven Capital, on their investment into leading vehicle body repair provider, Steer Automotive Group.
Established in 2003, Aylesbury based Steer Automotive Group is one of the largest accident repair groups in the UK, with nine centres covering the whole of the Midlands and into Buckinghamshire. Steer Automotive are focused on delivering outstanding repairs by combining the latest techniques and the most effective technology to a strong customer base, and their highly trained technicians deliver over 12,000 repairs per year across its 11 sites.
Steer Automotive has already completed its first acquisition since receiving Chiltern’s investment, acquiring Premier Panel Skills, a prestige vehicle repair specialist which is one of only 14 Porsche approved repairers in the UK.
Following on from this investment from Chiltern Capital, backed by Keyhaven Capital, Steer Automotive will continue to be led by Richard Steer alongside a strengthened management team. The investment places the group in an ideal position to deliver its ongoing growth strategy as well as further expand its geographic footprint.
