Leaders Romans Group acquires Peter Ball and Alexander & Co
HMT LLP advised property services group Leaders Romans Group (‘LRG’) on their acquisition of Peter Ball and Alexander & Co.
Backed by private equity firm Platinum Equity, LRG is one of the UK’s largest property services groups with a network of over 245 branches across the country and employ over 2,600 people. LRG provide their customers and clients, ranging from individuals wishing to sell or rent their property, through to corporate organisations and national house builders, with a comprehensive range of property related services.
LRG has acquired Alexander & Co and Peter Ball, residential sales, lettings and surveying businesses operating multiple branches across London, Surrey, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.
LRG says the acquisition of these brands adds significant growth to areas its already covers but is underrepresented in, supporting its continued growth plans. All branches will remain under their current brands.
George Thomas, CEO at Alexander & Co, will leave the business after a short transition period. All remaining team members will transfer to LRG.
HMT undertook financial due diligence on this transaction.
