Optimised Acquires Control Energy Costs

HMT advised leading UK provider of net-zero advisory, building optimisation, and utility management services Optimised on their acquisition of Control Energy Costs (CEC).
Founded in 2002, Optimised enable businesses to decarbonise, through a complete suite of services including Net Zerp, Utility Management and Building Optimisation.
Optimised partners with commercial energy users to structure a pathway to net zero, through an effective and sustainable approach to energy performance. Their clients range from blue chip, public sector, heavy industrial users as well as independent renewable generators.
Optimised employ over 170 people across four UK office locations while also operating internationally.
Optimised’s acquisition of CEC enhances its capabilities and commitment to UK clients in utility, energy and carbon management and will bring together the strengths of both companies to offer an expanded range of services to a growing client base.
Phil Ager, Managing Director of Control Energy Costs will be appointed Managing Director of Optimised’s combined Utility Management division. Phil, a respected industry expert, will lead the integration of CEC within Optimised’s structure, ensuring seamless service and continuity for clients.
The combined Utility Management division, now over 70-strong, will provide energy and water procurement, bureau services, and cost recovery to more than 700 clients, enhancing Optimised’s utility management capabilities.
