Spiritel makes six bolt-on acquisitions
HMT were delighted to advise SpiriTel, a leading business communications service provider group, on six bolt-on acquisitions.
Acquisition of Housing Communications Limited – Based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, HCL is a well established provider of mobile voice and data services with a focus on the specialist UK Housing Association sector. HCL has over 17,000 mobile connections and an exclusive contract with the largest procurement agency targeting Housing Associations. HCL’s recently commenced IPC telephony systems sales and networking solutions provide significant cross selling opportunities within Spiritel’s fully integrated communications offering.
Acquisition of Mobotel Management Limited – Based in Fulham, Mobotel is a specialist reseller of mobile and data services with over 90% of connections including BlackBerry services. Mobotel has a high quality customer base with an ARPU spend approaching £50 which is significantly higher than the industry average.
Acquisition of Boucon Network Solutions – Based in Swansea, Boucon is a leading provider of Internet Protocol (IP) based telephony solutions, and like SpiriTel, has the highest level of accreditation with Mitel as a Premier Partner. Boucon has a high quality customer base including the DVLA and a number of NHS Trusts and county councils, with whom Boucon has contracted maintenance agreements.
Acquisition of ADK Communications Limited – ADK has been established for a number of years and sells voice and data services (inbound and outbound voice, broadband, wholesale line rental and non-geographic numbers) to around 300 corporate customers in the UK.
Acquisition of Edge Solutions Limited – Edge is a London based leading provider of network services to almost 200 corporate customers including a number of blue chip financial institutions.
Acquisition of ED Communications – EDC has been established for a number of years and sells voice and data services (inbound and outbound voice, broadband, wholesale line rental and non-geographic numbers) to the corporate market in the UK.
