Before the end of the 12 days of Christmas, HMT completed two transactions (announcements to follow) and again strengthened its team with two new hires.
We closed 2019 having completed 34 deals with an aggregate value in excess of £400 million and we enter 2020 with our pipeline of transactions at an all-time high.
We have experienced a clear post-election surge in activity with a number of new mandates now underway that had either previously stalled until the outcome of the election or from completely fresh enquiries. We hope to announce our first close for 2020 very shortly.
Both our Due Diligence and Financial Modelling teams saw extremely strong demand for their services throughout 2019 and continue to grow. We welcome Nauman Ali who has recently joined as an Executive in our Due Diligence team and Jay Kang as an Executive in our Financial Modelling team.
We are extremely proud to have been nominated in two awards categories by the Insider Southeast Dealmakers Awards 2020; firstly, for Corporate Finance Advisory Firm of the Year and also for Transaction Services Team of the Year, a testament to the industry’s high regard for our teams and for the strong year just finished.
