Andrew is a founding partner of HMT and has over 30 years corporate finance experience.
Andrew qualified with Ernst & Young in 1987 and spent two years in Corporate Recovery before specialising in Corporate Finance from 1989. Andrew left Ernst & Young in 1992 to set up HMT.
Andrew is one of the most experienced Corporate Finance Advisors in the UK with an exceptional track record of over 400 completed transactions during his career. His expertise includes a significant amount of buy-side private equity work, fund raising and sell-side work for business owners. Andrew has vast experience advising stressed businesses and accelerated sales processes but have equally secured spectacular returns for shareholders through more typical disposal processes.
Andrew has been voted ‘Corporate Finance Advisor of the Year‘ at the Thames Valley Deals Awards on a record five occasions.
Downtime
Andrew lives in Chalfont St Giles.
Being both prolific at deal making and fathering 7 children, downtime is somewhat of a luxury.
However, when not at work or enjoying his family, Andrew enjoys both shooting and rugby, albeit his rugby playing days are long over and he enthusiastically spectates from a safe distance.
