HMT cycles 2,500 miles for charity

As announced at the end of last year in our HMT of Christmas Future publication, HMT will continue its efforts to support the local community in Henley-On-Thames in 2021 with our Charity Cycling Event taking place this month.

We will be raising funds for our chosen charity, The Chiltern Centre, with every HMT team member targeting to cycle a minimum of 100 miles each over the course of the month with a total aggregate target of 2,500 miles.

The Chiltern Centre is a wonderful purpose-built care home in Henley-on-Thames offering a range of services to young people with learning and physical disabilities that empower them to live a more independent life whilst giving practical support to parents and families caring for a disabled child.

For each mile cycled by our team in January, HMT will donate £1 to the Chiltern Centre and further donations to our Just Giving page here would be greatly appreciated and would be an amazing help to the Chiltern Centre.

We will keep you updated with our progress and post weekly updates on our LinkedIn and Twitter pages to show how many miles we have banked as a team with a few sweaty pictures, so be sure to keep checking in to see how we’re doing! And if you want to join us and spend a bit of time on the saddle this month for a good cause, please let us know.

Thank you for your invaluable support.
